Workplace Wellbeing Consultant
Bespoke Strategic, medically informed workplace wellbeing consultancy from Dr Jane Sehgal, a practising GP, certified Health Coach and professional with training in Lifestyle Medicine.
Dr Jane works with organisations to understand the health and wellbeing challenges affecting their people and develop practical, evidence-based approaches that fit their workforce, culture and business priorities.
A Practical Approach to Workplace Wellbeing
The most effective approach starts by understanding what your people actually need, what pressures they are experiencing and what type of support is realistic within your organisation.
As a workplace wellbeing consultant, Dr Jane helps organisations take a more considered approach to employee health and wellbeing.
Combining her experience as a practising GP with Health Coaching and Lifestyle Medicine principles, she helps businesses identify priorities, develop appropriate wellbeing initiatives and turn good intentions into practical support employees can use.
The aim is not to create another generic workplace wellness initiative. It is to develop a wellbeing approach that makes sense for your organisation and the people within it.

What Does a Workplace Wellbeing Consultant Do?
A workplace wellbeing consultant helps organisations understand their employee wellbeing needs and determine how best to address them.
This may involve reviewing existing wellbeing activity, identifying areas where employees may need greater support and recommending appropriate education, coaching or wider wellbeing initiatives.
Dr Jane can work with your organisation to explore areas such as:
• Workplace stress and burnout
• Employee energy and fatigue
• Sleep and recovery
• Healthy habits in demanding roles
• Work-life balance and emotional resilience
• Men’s and women’s health in the workplace
• Wellbeing during periods of organisational change
• Longer-term employee behaviour change
• The role of health education within your wider wellbeing strategy
Recommendations are tailored to your workforce rather than based on a one-size-fits-all corporate wellness model.
Why Work With a GP-Led Workplace Wellbeing Consultant?
Employee health is complex.
Advice that sounds straightforward in theory can be difficult to apply when people are balancing demanding jobs, family responsibilities, health concerns and limited time.
As a practising GP, Dr Jane brings a clinical understanding of the factors that can affect employee health alongside a practical understanding of behaviour change.
Her approach combines:
• Medical knowledge and clinical experience
• Health Coaching principles
• Lifestyle Medicine approaches
• Evidence-based health education
• Practical behaviour-change strategies
• A compassionate and non-judgemental approach
This allows organisations to provide wellbeing support that is credible and medically informed while remaining realistic for employees.
Workplace Wellbeing Consultancy Tailored to Your Organisation
No two organisations have exactly the same wellbeing challenges.
A fast-growing business may be concerned about employee stress and maintaining healthy working practices during periods of change.
Another organisation may want to improve health education, introduce a structured wellbeing programme or give employees better support around sleep, energy and sustainable performance.
Dr Jane’s workplace wellbeing consultancy begins with understanding your organisation.
This may include discussing:
• Your current employee wellbeing priorities
• Challenges affecting your workforce
• Existing workplace wellbeing initiatives
• Areas where employees are asking for more support
• The type of wellbeing activity you have previously delivered
• Your organisational culture and working environment
• What you would like your wellbeing investment to achieve
From there, Dr Jane can help identify the most appropriate next steps.
