What is Health Coaching?

Health Coaching is a supportive and personal way to improve your wellbeing. It is not about quick fixes. It is about understanding your habits, what gets in the way, and which simple changes will genuinely make a difference.

As a GP and holistic Health Coach, I look at the full picture of your wellbeing, including nutrition, movement, sleep, stress, hormones, emotional load, and the routines that shape your day. Together, we focus on what matters most to you and create small, realistic steps that fit your lifestyle so the changes last. You are never expected to be perfect. You are supported to be consistent.

 

Health Coaching helps you understand your body and behaviour so you can make meaningful, long term improvements. Whether you want to lose weight, improve sleep, boost energy, balance hormones, or reduce stress, you are supported through a clear, compassionate, and evidence based framework. For those living with chronic conditions such as type two diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, obesity, migraines, or chronic pain, lifestyle medicine coaching offers practical, sustainable tools to help your body function better.

 

My aim is simple. I want you to feel more energised, more confident, and more in control of your health, so you can live with more balance and ease.

How Health Coaching Works

Your coaching journey begins with understanding your goals, your lifestyle, and the obstacles that make change difficult. From there, I help you build the habits, routines, and mindset needed to create long term wellbeing.

Coaching sessions are available online or can be in person in the Edinburgh area. As your virtual Health Coach or in person coach, the aim is always to make change feel realistic and achievable.

MEET DR JANE

I’m Dr Jane, a GP and Health Coach who helps people take control of their health, with a focus on weight loss, energy levels, hormones, and burnout.

With over a decade of medical experience, I bridge the gap between healthcare and wellbeing, combining my work as a GP with specialist training in women’s health and habit change coaching. My approach is science backed, practical, and compassionate, supporting both physical and emotional wellbeing.

I believe small, consistent changes create lasting transformation. When you prioritise your health, you gain more energy, resilience, and clarity to live the life you want. I blend medical insight with self compassion, so you feel supported rather than judged, and guided rather than overwhelmed.

 

Having experienced periods of stress and burnout myself, I understand how hard change can feel when life is demanding. My aim is to help you feel empowered, confident, and back in control of your wellbeing, without guilt, stress, or restriction.
